I grew up in Milwaukee and somehow ended up in a tiny mountain town in Colorado, which feels pretty on brand for how my life has gone—unexpected turns, lots of learning, and a constant pull toward building things that matter.

I’m a backend developer, project manager, linguist, and lifelong student. I’ve never really been just one thing, and I like it that way.

Before I started writing code full-time, I was deep in the world of project management and IT consulting—working with teams at Xcel Energy, Sling TV, Crocs, and Sovos.

Language has always been a huge part of my life too. I’m fluent in Spanish, and I spent time teaching English in Barcelona.

Moving into backend development felt like a natural next step. At Turing, I leaned into building APIs, data models, and real systems.

Outside of work, I’m usually making something—cooking, baking, glass etching, or being outside in the mountains.
